The brand was founded in Boston in 1906 by an English immigrant named Arthur Hall ,he originally manufactured some Arch supports.

Today, New Balance is the fourth largest global brand sports shoes and is the only one to make shoes in occident (70% of running shoes sold in Europe are manufactured in England at Flimby)

New Balance refuses to pay athletes for wear the brand products« Endorsed by No One » and manufactures most of its shoes in various widths by size.
